Birthday Parties

Birthdays That Go Beyond Cake and Candles

Turn the celebration into a high-energy racing experience that gets everyone involved.

What a birthday here looks like

Everyone on the grid, at the same time

Everyone races together in structured sessions, lining up on the same circuit at the same time while everyone else watches the board. Every pass, spin and photo-finish happens in front of the whole group, which is where most of the shouting comes from.

Small group or large, our team runs the session so nobody is left standing at the side of it. People arrive not knowing what to expect, and spend the rest of the evening comparing lap times.

One thing to plan around: a 30-minute reservation is about 25 minutes of actual racing. The rest goes on getting in and out of the simulators and loading between sessions. Factor that in when you're working out how long your group needs.

Choose your party style

Three ways to run the session

Free-Play

Race any car on any circuit at your own pace. Racers swap cars, try circuits they've only seen on TV, and set their own agenda. Perfect for casual fun and for groups with a wide spread of experience.

Competition

Structured heats and semi-finals, with a leaderboard running throughout. Best for competitive groups who want a proper format and a winner at the end of it.

Mix it up

Open in Free-Play so everyone finds their feet and picks a car they like, then switch into Competition once the lap times start closing up.

Questions

Before you book

What ages are birthday parties best for?

Teens and adults. We don't encourage it for under-10s. They can't reach the pedals. From 10 to under 14, they're welcome to attempt it, and must be accompanied by an adult.

We're not staffed to teach people how to drive. Our team will show anyone how to use the simulator, but not how to reverse out of a barrier and get back onto the circuit after a crash. If your child needs that kind of help, you're very welcome to give it.

Does everyone race together, or take turns?

Everyone races together in shared, head-to-head sessions, lining up on the same circuit at the same time, which is what makes it social rather than a queue. Larger groups are split into heats when there are more racers than simulators.

Do you need racing experience to participate?

No. The experience is designed to be approachable for beginners while still holding the attention of more experienced drivers. Our team helps everyone get comfortable before the first green light. As long as you can reach the pedals and know the basics, you'll have fun.

Can we bring our own cake or decorations?

Yes. We don't have kitchen facilities or much space to put out a big spread, so keep it simple. A cake and a couple of pizzas is fine. San Ramon also has plenty of food options within the mall. Get in touch if you're planning something more elaborate.
